The two judges appointed to the Civil Court of the Maldives have undertaken their oath.
As such, Zulaikha Sheeza and Ahmed Nimal Junaid took their oath administered by Chief Judge of High Court Hathif Hilmy in front of the President of Judicial Service Commission (JSC) Hisaan Hussain.
Judge Zulaikha Sheeza holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Help University in Malaysia and a Master of Laws in Constitutional Politics, Law and Theory from Birkbeck College, University of London. She has also served as State Counsel and Senior State Attorney at the Attorney General's Office for more than three years.
Judge Ahmed Nimal holds a Bachelor of Sharia and Law (Honours) from Villa College. He has worked as the Managing Partner of Farhan Zameel and Nimal for more than one year.
