The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched a four-month leadership training programme for its senior and managerial-level employees.
The programme, “Isdhaana - Leadership Training Programme,” is being conducted by the Maldives National Anti-Corruption Academy (MNACA).
The training aims to strengthen leadership and management skills, and will focus on three areas including managing staff, managing work systems and achieving work results. The sessions will be conducted by facilitators with education and experience in management.
Speaking at the ceremony held to launch the programme, ACC Member Ahmed Nashid noted the importance of learning leadership skills and emphasised that participants must apply the knowledge in their day-to-day work. Meanwhile, MNACA’s Director-General Ibrahim Thoyyib highlighted self-reflection, responsibility and accountability.
According to ACC, the training will strengthen the commission’s operations and improve management’s ability to address challenges.
