JSC seeks Chief Judge for Family Court

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has opened the opportunity to apply for the position of chief judge at the Family Court of the Maldives.

The position has been vacant at the Family Court for over two years after Chief Judge Hassan Saeed was transferred to the Criminal Court of the Maldives following the conclusion of a disciplinary case in 2019. Family Court is the only court in the Maldives that is currently being run without a chief judge.

JSC stated interested individuals can submit their applications before March 20 and that the position comes with a monthly salary of USD2,000, along with a living allowance of USD971, and a risk allowance of USD90.
