Family room established at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Ministry of Foreign Affairs has established a family room for staff of the ministry.

The family room was inaugurated by Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid on March 8. Speaking at the inauguration event, Minister Shahid said the family room was established to alleviate some of the difficulties faced by staff in spending time with their children due to their work schedule. He expressed hope the family room will enable staff to spend more time with their children.

Staff at the foreign ministry stated the family room will enable them to bring their children with them when working in both official and unofficial hours.
