Addu City Council has officially commenced developing Addu City Square. The project, included in the Addu Development Plan compiled by the government, was officially inaugurated by Mayor of Addu City Abdulla Sadiq.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mayor Sadiq stated the project is a step towards achieving the vision of the government for the development of the city. Moreover, he noted the city square will be developed to modern standards.
Moreover, the city council revealed flag poles are being placed in the area under the first phase of the project, adding the area would be accessed by all individuals. Additionally, the council noted placing flag poles will be completed before April 12, highlighting the whole project will be completed within a period of 6 months.
