Ooredoo Maldives has launched AirFiber ChildSafe service on the occasion of its 21st anniversary to help families create a safer online environment for children.
The ChildSafe parental control service is available for 5G AirFiber customers and allows parents to monitor children’s internet usage and use security features on broadband devices. The service will be free until end of August as an anniversary offer.
Ooredoo’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Shadi Qawasmi said the company’s successful journey has been built on customer trust. He said Ooredoo aims to build a safe ‘Digital Maldives’ by providing innovative resources.
The company also announced several anniversary offers:
Truecaller Premium: Truecaller Premium will now be available as a paid service through the Ooredoo Holhuashi, with charges added directly to customers’ monthly bills without requiring an additional payment method. The service aims to help protect customers from spam and scam calls.
Free data: Customers will receive 21 GB of free data for one day on 1 August through the Ooredoo Super App. The offer is available 11for both prepaid and postpaid customers.
Dhaka and Malaysia trip giveaway: MasterCard customers are eligible for Malaysia and Dhaka return flights draw when recharging USD 26 or more through the Super App.
Supernet Club Premier: Customers upgrading their SuperNet plans will receive higher speeds at the price of their existing plans for the first three months. Ooredoo has also introduced a 21 GB add-on for USD 1.36. The first 100 customers switching to Club Premier will receive a USD 6.5 Huopan voucher.
Ooredoo Maldives also announced Misriyya Ali as the grand prize winner of the Live Unlimited campaign, winning a Hajj trip. It also announced that the annual Ooredoo Fun Run will be held on 11 August in Hulhumale’.
