President's Office has revealed efforts are underway to formulate a National Development Master Plan.
Speaking on a programme aired on PSM News, Minister at the President's Office Ahmed Sameer revealed the administration has commenced to formulate a National Development Master Plan with the assistance of Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure. Minister Sameer elaborated the master plan will be formulated after identifying what Maldives may need in the future, adding the plan will show the development the country will see in the future.
Sameer assured the administration will ensure no development project embarked by the previous administration is stopped if it benefits the public. He added every project will be arranged in ways to eliminate waste of funds.
Moreover, Minister Sameer highlighted on the 100-day pledge policy of the administration revealing even after 100 days, the administration will continue fulfilling the remaining pledges. 83% of the pledge policy has been achieved so far, he revealed.
