Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MNACI) has called to inspect construction sites regularly under certain regulations to minimize unfavourable incidents at construction sites.
A press statement issued by MNACI appealed to ensure safety measures of construction sites more than now, highlighting that many incidents have happened at those sites. Moreover, MNACI advised to ensure precautionary measures of construction sites, people working at the sites, safety of people using the roads and people living nearby the construction sites.
The national association expressed concerns over the rising amount of incidents and accidents caused by the construction industry. MNACI also noted such incidents are unacceptable and should be avoided.
