Fenaka operations handed over to STELCO managing director

The operations of Fenaka Corporations Limited has been handed over to the Managing Director of State Electric Company Limited (STELCO), Dr. Ali Azwar.

The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) announced the handover of Fennaka’s operations to Dr Ali Azwar.

The previous Managing Director of Fenaka, Mohamed Afeef Hussain has been dismissed.

The move comes under the government moves to dissolve Fenaka and transition it's operations under the management of STELCO. As part of these efforts STELCO has conducted surveys to asses conditions in the islands that will come under its management.
