The Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade has announced that three new services will be added to the Tradian portal from 10 May.
Tradian is a government digital platform aimed at facilitating import and export processes for Maldivian businesses through a single online system, developed under President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s development vision. The platform already connects multiple agencies involved in trade-related services.
The new services being added to Tradian are vessel declaration, fireworks import permit and flare import permit. These services will be available for users to familiarise themselves until 10 June. From 11 June onwards, the services will be available exclusively through the Tradian portal.
The Tradian portal was developed with input from economic stakeholders and business representatives. A support contact number and email have been provided for assistance with the platform.
