Thai gov’t. assures assistance to Maldives police

The Government of Thailand on Tuesday assured its commitment to provide further training opportunities to Maldives Police Service.

Thai Ambassador to the Maldives Nopporn Adchariyavanich made the assurance during a meeting with Commissioner of Police Ahmed Areef.

Speaking during the meeting, the Thai Ambassador said the Consulate would work with relevant authorities in Thailand to provide addition training and other human resource development opportunities to Maldives police.

At the meeting, the Police Commissioner thanked the Thai Government for its continued assistance.
