Crossroads appointed as hospitality partner of Maldives Sports Awards

Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment has appointed Crossroads Maldives as the hospitality partner of Maldives Sports Awards.

The partnership agreement was signed by Sports Minister Ahmed Mahloof and Managing Director of Crossroads Maldives Tolga Unan. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Minister Mahloof said the participation of Crossroads as the hospitality partner of Maldives Sports Awards would be a major boost to the event. The minister acknowledged the support and cooperation extended by Crossroads for events organised by the ministry.

Several international sports personalities are set to attend the Maldives Sports Awards. All such individuals will be hosted at Crossroads Maldives. The sports minister noted this would be a great opportunity to promote Maldivian tourism.

12 awards will be distributed at this year’s Maldives Sports Awards. This includes the Male and Female Athlete of the Year, Specially Abled Athlete of the Year, Federation or Association of the Year, Sports Journalist of the Year and Media of the Year in Sports Coverage – Online and Broadcasting.
Furthermore, awards will also be given for the Sports Medic of the Year, Male and Female Technical Official of the Year, Coach of the Year and Most Promising Athlete of the Year as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award and Special Recognition Award by the Ministry of Sports.
