Male’ City Council has passed the decision to provide the financial allowances of Male’ City Women’s Development Committee (WDC) member Aminath Eman to her family, following her passing on March 2.
The proposal to provide the WDC allowances of the late Aminath Eman to her family was presented by Councillor Nahula Ali and endorsed by Deputy Mayor Ahmed Nareesh. The city council passed the decision to continue issuing the monthly WDC allowance of USD 320 to the family of Aminath Eman, until the end of the five-year tenure to which she was elected.
Aminath Eman, 29, passed away after suffering a fatal head injury in a road accident in Hulhumale’ on February 27. She was first taken to Hulhumale’ Hospital, and was later transferred to ADK Hospital where she passed away two days later.
