Mughnee appointed as Minister of State for Environment, Climate Change and Technology

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Hassan Mughnee to the post of State Minister in the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology.

Before his new appointment, Hassan Mughnee served as the Managing Director of State Electric Company Limited (STELCO). Earlier this week, the former President of Elections Commission of the Maldives (ECM) Ahmed Shareef was appointed as the new Managing Director of STELCO, replacing Mughnee.

Mughnee holds a Master of Business Administration from Brandies International Business School, Massachusetts, US, and a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management and Marketing from HELP University College, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
