President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has instructed all government offices to use the "Census 2022" logo in all official correspondence, from the beginning of March till the end of September 2022.
Government offices have been instructed to use the Census 2022 logo as data would be collected this year for the population and housing census. According to a directive issued by the President's Office, the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure would provide information to government offices about the logo.
The population census is a count of all individuals and household units across the country. During the census, data will be collected on the income and living conditions of the public. The last census in the Maldives was conducted in 2014.
