The national carrier, Maldivian, has launched a promotion to purchase tickets online and win two return tickets.
Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL), which operates Maldivian, said return tickets under the promotion will be given for its foreign destinations, which are Dhaka, Cochin, and Thiruvananthapuram. IASL revealed a lucky winner will be chosen every week from those who purchase tickets online.
IASL has encouraged customers to use their online applications to purchase tickets due to the COVID-19 pandemic. IASL is working to expand its services over the past few years. As such, the state-owned company has signed an agreement with ATR to purchase three new aircraft to be used for domestic operations. IASL noted two ATR 72-600 and an ATR 42-600 will soon be added to its fleet as part of the agreement.
Moreover, Emirates and Maldivian have also signed an agreement to connect and expand their services.
