Non-Resident Ambassador of the Maldives to Jordan Mohamed Khaleel presents his credentials to Abdullah bin Al-Hussein. The first non-resident ambassador of the Maldives to Jordan presented his credentials at a ceremony held at the Royal Hashemite Court in Amman.
During the ceremony, King Abdulla congratulated Ambassador Khaleel on the commencement of his term. He also expressed confidence that his appointment by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, would further strengthen the alliance between the two countries.
Ambassador Khaleel assured of his commitment to work with Jordan in strengthening cooperation between the two countries, in areas of mutual interest. He was accompanied to the ceremony by the Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Maldives in Saudi Arabia Badoora Saeed.
