United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has donated 100 tablets to Maldives Bureau of Statistics (MBS) for use in the 2022 census data collection.
The tablets were handed over to MBS in a special function held on November 23. UNICEF stated the tablets would be crucial in supporting the much needed data collection on disabilities within the population.
Data collection for the 2022 census will be carried out from September 17-30, 2022. The results of the survey will be published on October 6, 2022.
