Vice President Faisal Naseem has departed on a two-day trip to Haa Alifu Atoll and Haa Dhaalu Atoll.
Vice President Naseem began the tour by visiting Hoarafushi, Haa Alifu Atoll, where he inaugurated a road development project and attend an anniversary celebration at Hoarafushi Airport. He further visited the institutions in Hoarafushi and held meetings with key stakeholders on the island.
Vice President Naseem is also scheduled to visit three islands in Haa Dhaalu Atoll. As such, the vice president will meet with important stakeholders in Nellaidhoo and tour the island's health centre and school.
The vice will then travel to Vaikaradhoo, where he will inaugurate the island's outdoor gym. He will then proceed to Kulhudhuhfushi City to officially inaugurate Ufanveni at the Kulhudhuhfushi Regional Hospital.
On his tour, the vice president plans to visit institutions and meet with key stakeholders on each island. He is accompanied on the tour by a high-level government delegation. He will conclude his visit and return to Male’ City on November 20.
