Fenaka introduces immediate billing service

Fenaka Corporation Limited has introduced the service to provide electricity bills to households immediately after a metre reading.

At a ceremony held in Faresmaathodaa, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, Minister of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure Mohamed Aslam introduced the Fenaka Bill Pay application to be used for the new service.

The state-owned utility company stated Fenaka Bill Pay can be used to review and pay the bill immediately after the metre reading. The new service will also make it easier for customers to quickly review details of the bill and resolve any issues.

Fenaka stated the new service will also reduce expenditure on thermal paper rolls and make the work of employees easier. It added that it is working to improve its services by training its employees to use the latest technologies.

Fenaka is a state-owned utility company providing electricity, water, and sewerage to over 160 island communities in the Maldives.
