Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has revealed Chief of Defence Force Major General Abdulla Shamaal has departed for the Dubai Airshow 2021.
Major General Shamaal is visiting Dubai on the invitation of the UAE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces General Hamad Mohammed Thani. The defence chief is accompanied during his trip by a delegation of high-ranking members of MNDF. The delegation includes Principal Director of the Directorate of Administration and Personal Services Lieutenant Colonel Mohamed Firdaus and Staff Officer of the Bureau of Chief of Defence Force Major Mohamed Shinan.
The Dubai Airshow is being held from November 14-18 with participation from members of the global aerospace community. This year's event features pavilions of over 20 countries along with an aircraft display of over 160 commercial, military, and private jets. The display will exhibit the latest aircraft including the Boeing 777x, Bombardier's Global 7500 and many more.
