Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been awarded another two harbour development projects and two shore protection projects.
MTCC was awarded the projects to develop harbours in Hithaadhoo, Baa Atoll and Kinolhas, Raa Atoll, along with shore protection projects in Kurendhoo, Lhaviyani Atoll and Milandhoo, Shaviyani Atoll. The contracts for the four projects were signed by Director General at the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure Zeeniya Ahmed Hameed and CEO of MTCC Adam Azim.
The harbour development projects in Hithaadhoo and Kinolhas are worth USD 1.1 million and USD 2.9 million respectively. The projects have been contracted to be completed in 540 days and 420 days respectively.
Meanwhile, the shore protection projects in Kurendhoo and Milandhoo are worth USD 2.9 million and USD 2.3 million respectively. The projects are contracted to be completed within 365 days and 200 days respectively.
