Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said 96 projects were conducted in the third quarter of the year.
The 96 projects include 41 harbour development projects, 17 land reclamation projects, 15 beach protection projects, 9 road development projects, and three airport development projects, according to the financial report published by MTCC for the third quarter of this year.
The state-owned company revealed it has successfully completed 10 projects in the third quarter of the year. The projects include a road development project in Eydhafushi, Baa atoll, a beach protection project in Meedhoo, Addu City, and the land reclamation in Gulhifalhu.
Moreover, MTCC said 10 new projects commenced in the third quarter and 15 new projects were contracted in the third quarter. As per statistics, MTCC has generated an income of USD 31.4 million in the third quarter.
The recorded income is an increase of 14.5% compared to the USD 27.4 million generated by MTCC in the second quarter of the year.
