Land allocated for development of driving license area in Hulhumale’

Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has signed an agreement with Housing Development Corporation (HDC) for the allocation of land in Hulhumale’ Phase I to develop a driving license area.

The agreement was signed on October 28 by Transport Minister Aishath Nahula and Managing Director of HDC Suhail Ahmed. Under the agreement, Hulhumale’ lot number 10909 has been allocated to the transport ministry for purposes of conducting driving tests. The lot has a total area of 20,163 square feet.

Meanwhile, Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has donated over USD 65,000 worth of items to develop the driving track in Hulhumale’. The items were donated under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of MWSC.
