Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has renewed its fuel supply contract with State Trading Organisation (STO).
The renewal contract was signed by Managing Director of MACL Gordon Andrew Stewart and Managing Director of STO Hussain Amru Mohamed Rashad.
MACL and STO made the agreement to supply fuel to VIA in 2018 for a two year period. As part of the agreement, STO is tasked with supplying Aviation Jet A-1 Fuel and Marine Gas Oil to Velana International Airport (VIA).
The two companies have now agreed to extend their agreement for another one and a half years.
STO also supplies fuel to airports in Kadhdhoo in Laamu Atoll, Kaadedhdhoo in Gaafu Dhaalu, and Hanimaadhoo in Haa Dhaalu Atoll.
