Vice President admitted in hospital

Vice President Faisal Naseem has been admitted in hospital for medical treatment.

Spokesperson at the President’s Office Mohamed Mabrook Azeez revealed the vice president had been admitted in Dharumavantha Hospital on October 4. The spokesperson said the vice president’s condition is not serious and is improving. However, no further details were disclosed.

The vice president had sought treatment from Dharumavantha Hospital earlier this year as well. He had also contracted COVID-19 in May.
