National Award of Honour to be conferred to 4 individuals this year

The President’s Office has revealed the National Award of Honour will be conferred to 4 individuals during this year’s National Day ceremony.

The President’s Office revealed President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will present the National Award of Honour to 4 individuals, in addition to the National Award of Recognition to 14 individuals and the National Award for Special Achievement to 11 individuals this year. One of the recipients of the National Award of Honour previously received the National Award of Recognition.

Furthermore, another 6 individuals are set to be awarded for achieving exceptional distinction in completing studies at MQA rank 10. In addition, 4 individuals will be awarded for achieving the highest rank in an academic or training course, and one individual for performing remarkably creatively and innovatively in their field and acknowledged to have had a positive effect on national progress.

The National Awards Committee, constituted by the president to determine recipients for this prestigious award, selected the recipients. The president will present the awards to recipients at the official ceremony held to mark National Day on October 6, at the Republic Square.
