The national airline, Maldivian, has announced its decision to commence scheduled flights between Maafaru, Noonu Atoll and the Indian capital New Delhi in October.
Maldivian stated flights between Maafaru and New Delhi will begin on October 21. The airline said the flights will be operated every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The airline added a two-way ticket between Maafaru and New Delhi will cost USD 285.
Maldivian has been gradually expanding its operations since the reopening of borders after a three-month lockdown last year. The Maafaru-New Delhi route is a new route introduced by Maldivian.
