Government rolls out "gov.mv message" service

The government has rolled out the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology’s "gov.mv message" service to the public.

The gov.mv messaging service enables the public to send letters to government offices. For the first time, this service enables tracking of letters in a standardised manner.

The announcement detailed the procedures for government institutions to follow when responding to requests made through the new platform. The announcement also nullified previous directives, issued in October 1975, June 1991, October 1995 and December 2001.
