Applications open for the position of Auditor General

The President’s Office has opened applications for the position of Auditor General.

The President’s Office stated application forms can be downloaded from the website of the President’s Office. Applications will be accepted from the President’s Office on the June 6 and 7, from 1000hrs to 1230hrs.

This position of Auditor General was opened for application following the resignation of Hassan Ziyath from the position on May 13. Ziyath resigned after his name was revealed in the list of suspected beneficiaries in the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) corruption scandal.
