The President’s Office has reopened the opportunity to apply for a membership vacancy at the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM).
Applications for the position was reopened as the nominations previously sent to Parliament failed to receive approval. The President’s Office would accept applications on April 11 and 12, 2021, from 09:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Application forms are available for download at the website of the President’s Office.
Four membership positions at HRCM were vacated in July last year with the resignation of three members and dismissal of one member through a no-confidence vote at the parliament. Three of the vacant slots were filled in September, with the appointment of Aminath Shifa’ath Abdul Razzaq, Moomina Waheed and Dr. Ahmed Adham Abdulla.
