President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has nominated three individuals for the soon-to-be vacant membership position at the Maldives Broadcasting Commission (BroadCom).
The three nominees are Fathmath Saushan, Shifla Ibrahim, and Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim. The nominations have been forwarded to the Parliament Committee on Independent Institutions.
President's Office opened the opportunity for membership to fill the soon-to-be vacant seat of Aminath Saraahath Izzath, when her term ends on April 4. BroadCom is a seven-member commission which currently consists of its President Maryam Waheeda, Vice President Ahmed Gais, recently appointed member Mohamed Fazeen, as well as members Aminath Ameena, Ali Yoosuf, Amjad Waheed, and Aminath Saraahath Izzath.
