President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Ali Rasheed as the Deputy Commissioner of Maldives Police Service.
The President made the appointment as per the power vested in him under Article 52 (b) of the Police Act. The credentials of the post were handed over to Ali Rasheed by Minister of Home Affairs Imran Abdulla.
Prior to the appointment, Ali Rasheed held the position of Assistant Commissioner of Police for over 11 years. Ali Rasheed has served in the Maldives Police Service for 25 years.
