President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has constituted the Governing Boards of Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) and Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital (KRH).
The President formed the governing board of AEH and made appointments on January 19, 2021. The President appointed Ahmed Zahir as the chairperson of the board, along with Dr. Mohamed Solih, Dr. Ali Nazeem, Aminath Shaina Abdulla, Aminath Mohamed Didi, Zahidha Ibrahim and Abdulla Sadiq as board members. The new board will govern the management of AEH and health centres in Meedhoo, Maradhoo, Feydhoo and Hulhudhoo wards of Addu City.
In addition, President Solih has also constituted the Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital (KRH) Governing Board and appointed six members on January 20. President appointed Aminath Gasim as the chairperson of the board, along with Dr. Aminath Nazeer, Moomina Abdulla, Hassan Shujau, Abdul Latheef Hassan and Ahmed Dawood as board members.
The President formed governing boards of AEH and KRH following the upgrade of the two hospitals to tertiary-level hospitals.
