The Government of Pakistan has removed the requirement for individuals travelling from the Maldives to Pakistan to present a negative PCR test on arrival.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan has issued a list of countries classified to three categories A, B and C with respect to travel requirements. Maldives has been listed in Category A, which does not require a PCR test on arrival in Pakistan. Other countries in this list include Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Singapore and South Korea.
Travellers from countries in Category B are required to present a negative PCR test conducted within 96 hours before arrival. Meanwhile, travellers from countries in Category C are required to conduct a PCR test before arrival as well as after arrival. No countries have been listed in Category C yet.
