Progressive Congress Coalition has resumed atoll meetings in efforts to strengthen the political activities.
At the first meeting held via video conferencing, discussions were focused on strengthening political activities, managing future events and the local council elections. The participants shared concerns of the public and policies to be considered by the leadership of Progressive Congress Coalition.
The opposition coalition formed by Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) and Peoples' National Congress (PNC) pledged to exert efforts to hold the government accountable. Moreover, the opposition coalition revealed efforts are ongoing to implement the activities discussed by the leadership.
The meeting was participated by President of PNC Abdul Raheem Abdulla and senior members of both parties.
