HDC begins upgrading bus stops in Hulhumale'

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has begun upgrading the bus stops in Hulhumale'.

The areas will be closed off to public by placing fences, according to HDC. The company added alternative temporary bus stop areas will be identified.

Speaking to PSM News, Managing Director Suhail Ahmed said bus stops will be developed with enough seating space and shade. He revealed more bus stops will be developed in the coming days.

While HDC has begun upgrading the bus stops, the existing bus stops do not hold enough waiting space. The bus stops are also open without any shade from sunlight.
