Minister of Arts, Culture and Heritage Yumna Maumoon has attended 8th World Summit on Arts and Culture. The summit is being held from March 11-14, at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The summit brought together leading policy makers, researchers, managers and practitioners from the arts and culture sector from around the world to address issues and examine how governments, cultural organisations, creative practitioners addressed these issues.
The summit also focused on what citizens can do to maintain the culture. The theme of this year's summit was Mobile Minds: Culture, Knowledge and Change.
According to the Heritage Ministry, attending such a forum will further assist in advancing the mandate of heritage ministry.
