Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Aishath Nahula has met Director of the Pacific Region of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Arun Mishra. The Transport Minister met with Director of Pacific Region of ICAO and other senior members of ICAO Pacific Region during a visit to Thailand.
This is the first time a Maldivian Transport Minister has met senior members of ICAO.
During the discussions held, Arun Mishra highlighted the support given by Maldives for ICAO programmes. Mishra expressed hope, further support and cooperation will be extended from Maldives to the organisation's programmes.
Moreover, the Director of Pacific Region of ICAO handed over the Civil Aviation Sector Audit Report of Maldives to Transport Minister Aishath Nahula.
