President states administration has fulfilled aspirations of Maldivians

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has stated the aspirations of Maldivians, towards the administration, have been fulfilled. The president made the remark while speaking at the function held to initiate the sewerage services system and inaugurate clean water services in Kolamaafushi Island in Gaafu Alifu Atoll.
While addressing the function, President Yameen said his administration has made numerous efforts to fulfil the aspirations of Maldivian youth and senior citizens. Highlighting these efforts and achievements will further enhance the needs of the community for more progress; President Yameen said that now is the time to work towards achieving the objectives.
The president also noted the nation no longer believed the lack of resources to be a barrier to development, highlighting that people want to resolve the challenges and difficulties they face and the community is confident of the administration's capacity to deliver. While addressing the gathering in Kolamaafushi, President Yameen also highlighted the administration has spent nearly USD 15 million for the development of the island.
During his visit to Kolamaafushi, President Yameen initiated the sewerage services system and inaugurated clean water services in the island. During the ceremony, the president unveiled the monuments placed to initiate the sewerage system and inaugurate clean water services in the island.
