President Dr Mohamed Muizzu advised students to use their time wisely and give priorities to their studies.
Addressing students during an appearance on the 'Nation Chat' programme, President Muizzu gave encouragements and advice to those who were currently sitting their O’Levels and the students who are currently preparing for their A’Levels.
The President stated that while students should enjoy themselves, as students they should give priorities to their studies. He advised students to listen to their parents. He also advised students to pray all their prayers regularly, stating that this is how they can achieve good results.
Reflecting on his own school days and academic achievements, the President noted that he had worked towards achieving the best possible results. He said he had taken additional subjects in his O-Level examinations beyond those taught at school
This years O’Levels would be ongoing till the 12th of November. A total of 8,111 students are taking part in this year’s IGSCE exams, and 7.776 students are taking part in the HSC exams.
For 3,222 students who are sitting their exams in Male’ region, 25 centers have been established and for 2,869 students who are sitting their exams in the islands 242 centers have been established.
