The Serum Institute of India and StatePharma have held discussions on strengthening the system for procuring medicines and medical supplies, in addition to vaccine supplies.
The meeting was held during the visit to the Maldives by Sandeep Mulay, Director of International Business at the Serum Institute. Discussions focused on identifying opportunities to further strengthen the reliable supply of vaccines and other essential pharmaceutical products required by the Maldives.
StatePharma said the meeting covered a broad range of areas, including strengthening the procurement system for medicines and medical supplies, as well as potential areas for collaboration in various public health programmes planned for implementation in the future.
