Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdulla Khaleel will attend Munich Security Conference.
The Munich Security Conference is currently being held in Munich, Germany, bringing together global leaders and policymakers for high-level discussions on international security.
The foreign minister has arrived in Munich to attend the conference, which is taking place from February 13 to 15. The annual forum is expected to host more than 1,000 delegates representing over 120 countries.
This year’s conference will focus on key issues in international security policy, including geopolitical stability, strategic cooperation, and emerging global challenges. During the event, Minister Khaleel is scheduled to engage in discussions aimed at strengthening relations with like-minded countries and expanding diplomatic cooperation.
The Minister stated that bilateral relations will be further reinforced through continued dialogue and engagement on matters of mutual interest.
The minister's participation follows the conclusion of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s official visit to Germany, signalling sustained high-level engagement between the Maldives and its international partners.
