PSM signs as broadcast partner for Maldives Maritime Conference

Public Service Media (PSM) has been appointed as the broadcasting partner for the second Maldives Maritime Conference.

The agreement was signed during a ceremony held at the head office of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL).

Chief Executive Officer of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), Mohamed Rishwan, signed the agreement on behalf of the company at a ceremony attended by partners of the Maritime Conference. Meanwhile, Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM), Ahmed Shakeeb, signed the agreement on behalf of PSM.

The Maldives Maritime Conference brings together international experts and stakeholders from the maritime sector to discuss and exchange views on the development of the industry. The second edition of the conference is scheduled to take place on 15 April.

The conference has signed partnership agreements with PSM and three other organisations. Maldives State Shipping has been appointed as the Logistics Partner, Villa Shipping and Trading Company as the Hosting Partner, and Maldives Maritime Journal as the Magazine Partner.

Conference partners also include the Maldives Coast Guard, the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, and the International Association of Ports and Harbours. The Maldives Police Service has been appointed as the Security and Safety Partner, while Maldives National University (MNU) has been arranged as the Academic Partner.
