Giraavarufalhu plot land to be dredged within three months

Land for allocated housing plots from Giraavarufalhu will be dredged within the next three months, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has announced.

Speaking on the government’s housing projects at the Youth Coffee with the President forum, the President said dredging is underway at the two locations at a swift pace. He said dredging in Hulhumale’ Phase III is also progressing well, with two dredgers working around the clock to accelerate the effort. Once the work is completed next month, the two dredgers will be utilised for the Giraavarufalhu dredging, he revealed.

Noting that plots issued from Gulhifalhu are already dredged, additional land will be dredged to use the area for various commercial purposes.
