Chinese Company Awarded Contract to Develop and Repair Hulhumale’ Roads

A Chinese company, Rotime Engineering and Technology Co. Ltd. has been awarded a contract to develop and repair roads in Phase I and Phase II of Hulhumale’.

The agreement, signed on 3 December between the company and the Housing Development Corporation (HDC), includes paving five unfinished roads in Phase I, and the road near Vinares Flats in Phase II, asphalting a total of 1.1 kilometres of road. The contract also includes repairs to damaged roads, including Fithuroanu Magu.

The company has been tasked with completing the project within six months.
