Driving licence tests will resume this week: Transport Authority

Transport Authority of Maldives on Saturday said preparatory work has been completed to resume driving licence tests.

Chairman of the agency Abdul Rasheed Nafiz said the test was suspended, after they found that it was unsafe to use the previous test ground due to the presence of heavy vehicles and stowage of construction materials for the development of the new Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) building.

He said preparations have now been made to recommence the test in the Alimas Carnival area.
