To commemorate 60 years of bilateral relations between the Maldives and India, diplomats from both nations and the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) joined hands for a symbolic tree planting ceremony on Monday afternoon.

The event, held at Central Park in Hulhumale’, saw 60 trees planted to represent the six decades of bilateral ties. The programme aims to further strengthen the friendly relationship and cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the area of environmental protection.
