The Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL)’s Chairperson, Ayesha Nur’ain Janah has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to maintain its past achievements and pursuing more successes in the future. She made the statement while addressing MACL’s Annual General Meeting held at Hulhule’ Island Hotel on Sunday.
The AGM was attended by Chairperson Nur’ain, MACL’s board members, the company’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, as well as other executive committee members.
In her address, Nur’ain said the achievements of MACL bring significant growth to the company, and expressed optimism about the company’s future. She stated that she wishes to see the company achieve new milestones.
Speaking at the meeting, MACL’s CEO and Managing Director Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed credited the success achieved by MACL to the collective efforts of the entire team. He assured the company's board and management that the company would continue to maintain this momentum.
CEO Shareef said MACL's key objective is to increase the services provided by the company with the opening of its new international terminal at Velana International Airport on 26 July. He said the new terminal will bring about a revolutionary change to the country’s tourism industry.
Currently, MACL's top priority is the successful opening of the new passenger terminal. MACL has invested in infrastructure and facilities to expand the terminal’s services to higher standards. MACL will continue to strive to provide comprehensive services to passengers, airlines and stakeholders, the company assured.
