Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been tasked with the project of developing Vilufushi Airport, Thaa Atoll.
The agreement was formally signed by the State Minister of Construction and Infrastructure Hassan Rasheed and Chief Project Management Officer at MTCC Ahmed Latheef following an official ceremony held in Vilufushi. The ceremony was officiated by the Minister of Construction and Infrastructure, Dr. Abdulla Muththalib.
This ceremony was attended by the President of Vilufushi Council Hussain Jabeen along with senior government officials.
The airport project that has been reinforced in Vilufushi, where a thousand of individuals resides, is among the 15 new airport projects that have been earmarked by the government.
